The human placenta and fetal membranes are reservoirs of mesenchymal stem cells which have significantly higher plasticity in comparison to adult stem cells. Therefore, stem cells derived from placenta are promising candidates for the development of the future strategies in cell therapy. The aim of study was to obtain the proteomic profile of mesenchymal stem cells isolated from the chorionic membrane (chMSC). Stem cells were enzymatic isolated from six chorionic membranes and the proteomic analysis was performed at cells from fourth passage. Whole cell protein fractions were separated by two-dimensional high-performance liquid chromatography (2D nanoHPLC) and subsequently analysed by the electrospray mass spectrometry (ESI MS), ion trap technology. The result of analysis was identification of 411 unique proteins as part of the chMSC proteomic profile, inclusive 9 proteins referred to as CD molecules and multiple proteins, which play important role in processes of proliferation and differentiation. The knowledge of the chorion derived mesenchymal stem cells contribute to the understanding properties and changes during cell processes like proliferation and differentiation which can help to develop new therapeutic methods.

Dobrý deň, veľmi zaujímavá téma a nepochybne perspektívna. Prezentácia je (takmer) vyčerpávajúco informatívna, hoci diskusia je pre mňa trocha neprehľadná - privítala by som jasne vyšpecifikovaný originálny nález/nálezy - alebo aspoň vlastný názor, čo Vás na Vašich výsledkoch prekvapilo - čo registrujete ako nové, nezvyklé nálezy (vo vzťahu k tomu, čo sa už publikovalo). Ešte som sa chcela spýtať na počet experimentov - píšete, že ste spracovali 6 membrán - išlo o šesť analýz proteomického profilu? Ďakujem. iwa
